Tai Chi - A Winter 9 Week Term
Tai Chi is a slow, intentional movement practice that develops strength, balance, coordination, and calm focus through simple, flowing sequences coordinated with breath. While it has roots as a martial art, Tai Chi is now widely practised for its ability to support nervous system regulation, mobility, and embodied awareness.
This NINE WEEK TERM is designed for beginners and experienced practitioners alike— giving you time to learn, repeat, and integrate the foundations of Tai Chi rather than rushing through material. The practice unfolds progressively, with each week building gently on the last.
Classes are calm, spacious, and carefully guided. You’ll learn core Tai Chi principles, foundational movements, and short sequences, with attention to posture, breath, weight transfer, and relaxed, efficient movement.
The emphasis is on how you move, not how much you do.
How the Course Works
Tuesdays | 8am-9am | starts June 16th and ends August 11th
Thursdays | 10:30–11:30am | starts June 18th and ends August 13th
You can attend Tuesday or Thursday or both - giving you true flexibility.
This is a live, in-person course only. There are no recordings. Tai Chi is learned through presence, repetition, and direct experience, and this container supports that depth of learning.
Your investment is $205 for the 9 weeks.

This course is suitable for complete beginners and those new to Tai Chi, as well as anyone seeking a slower, more mindful approach to movement. It’s ideal if you want to:

What to Bring
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows ease of movement and bring a water bottle. No special equipment is needed.
How to Register & Book Your Sessions
Our upcoming 9-week course runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Your registration gives you an 18-session pass to use with complete flexibility. You can attend Tuesdays only, Thursdays only, or both days whenever it suits your week.

Step 2: Book as You Go
You control your own schedule week by week.
Bonus Weeks: If you normally attend Tuesdays but want to add a Thursday session one week, simply go to the Courses/Enrollments tab in your MBO app or through our website and register for that Thursday.
Tracking: The system will automatically deduct 1 session from your 18-pass for every single day you book. You will never be charged extra as long as you have sessions left.
